Lichens can live up to about 200 years. They have a very unique way they use to survive the cold winters. To withstand the cold, they group up together into paches and trap the heat they have within.

Poppy:

The Arctic poppies are extremly tough but are also very delicate when it come to the pedles of the flower. To gain heat these floweres tend to grow towards the sun. 

Arctic Willow:

The Arctic Willow is a creepin willow and Its Scientific name is the Salix Arctica. It id adapted to survive harch weather conditions 

Purple Saxifrage:

The Purple Saxifire is known to be one of the very first flowers to bloom in the Arctic areas. Before they bloom they'd form a gren cushion and then grow on top of the cushion. they do no grow very tall and only last about 10-14 days after the snow melts in the area.
