Vegetation and Soil

75% of the Arctic Cordillera is made up of Ice and rocks, therefore it'd be very hard for plants and wildlfe to grow and survive in such harsh conditions. There isnt much soild exposed in this particular region, the only places it can be found are in valleys or caves, mostly places that have been sheltered. Most of the time, the soil in the arctic Cordillera turns into permafrost continuously builing layers upon layers, and hardly ever defrosts.
